Adara Griffin is an avid crossfitter and trainer. She graduated from Moline High School in 2012 and will graduate with her Associates in Radiology this July. She competed in gymnastics for 16 years including a year at the University of Iowa. After retiring from gymnastics, she fell in love with the competitive side of Crossfit and it’s methodology on February 17th, 2015. She went on to get her Crossfit Level-1 Trainer Certification in October of 2015. In 2016, she placed 135th in the North Central region in the Crossfit Games Open. Later on that year, she switched gears competitively and concentrated on weightlifting and qualified for the American Open in the 58kg weight class. Her goal is to reach the Crossfit Regionals and perhaps the Reebok Crossfit Games someday. Outside of Crossfit, she also teaches Tumbling and Piano and enjoys participating in mud runs and eating Oreos.
